Invitation to Share Your Expertise on a New Food Insecurity Support Program

Posted Date: 11/17/25 (8:48 AM)

Hello,
My name is Lisa Twedell, and I am part of a research team at Oklahoma State University. We are working on a new study to support mothers in Oklahoma who are experiencing food insecurity. As part of this project, we are forming a virtual Community Advisory Board (CAB) made up of mothers who may have worried in the past about not having enough food.
Participation involves attending up to 3 Zoom meetings lasting about 1 hour each. Meetings would occur 1 time per month for 3 months. During these meetings, participants will review and give feedback on some of the tools we are developing. This feedback will help ensure that the content is relevant, respectful, and supportive of people’s real experiences.
For completing all CAB activities, you would receive up to $90 in Amazon Gift Cards ($30 per meeting) by email in appreciation for your time and insight.
If you are interested, please take our screening survey here to determine if you are eligible.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Rachel.liebe@okstate.edu. Thank you for considering this opportunity to shape a resource that could make a real difference for others.
Warmly,
Lisa Twedell
